Club meeting: September7, 2010 - 7PM at Stuffy's Restaurant

TWILIGHT URBAN ADVENTURE!!  CVR and Longview Downtowners are sponsoring the first ever Twilight Urban Adventure in beautiful downtown Longview Friday, August 20.  Start/finish will be on the 1300 block of Commerce Ave.  This event is FREE FREE FREE to all participants.  Runners, walkers, family and friends are encouraged to participate.  Registration begins at 5:00. Bring pencil and paper.  At exactly 6pm we will be revealing approximately 15 checkpoints (businesses), most within a one mile radius of the start.  Participants will walk, run or sprint to as many checkpoints as possible. At each checkpoint you will receive a ticket.  At exactly 7:00 p.m., all tickets go in a pot and prizes will be awarded.  The more tickets... more chances to win!  Music, fun and festivities to follow.

WEDNESDAY TRACK WORKOUTS:  There will be a weekly track workout held at the Mark Morris High School track at 6pm.  Speedwork isn't always a favorite but having company to do it with certainly makes it more enjoyable.

Saturday runs - a group of runners meet every Saturday to run.  Coffee and conversation follow.  Check the message board for where and when.
